What is Money Insurance?

The Loss of or damage to money defined as cash, bank and currency notes, cheques, postal orders, money orders, current negotiable postage, revenue and holiday stamps, credit card vouchers and documents, certificates or other instruments of a negotiable nature, the property of the insured for which they are responsible.

Who needs Money Insurance?

Any small business who operates with money and especially if money is going to be in transit from place to place. We often notice that clients joining us were not previously made aware of the restrictions on their policy as to how much cash can be carried to the bank by their directors or staff.  Most insurers restrict cash being taken to the bank to R10,000 at one time unless it is carried by a professional cash company.  The transit must also be direct to the bank (unless professionally carried).

Why should you take out Money Insurance

Having to replace money can be incredibly costly whether it is petty cash or larger amounts and it is often cheaper to insure than having to replace. It also gives you peace of mind knowing that your business is protected.
